About the Role



This is a high-impact position in a fast-paced environment where you'll take full ownership of the employee lifecycle; from seamless onboarding to smooth offboarding – while providing strategic support by partnering with hiring managers on recruitment that shapes our future. Discretion is imperative, as you'll handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality. You'll also support HR disciplinary procedures, ensuring fair and compliant processes. Key Responsibilities:




  • HR Administration Mastery: Manage all core HR functions, including maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with SA Labour Laws (LRA, BCEA, EEA), and keeping everything running smoothly.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Orchestrate unforgettable first-day experiences, from welcome packs and orientation sessions to seamless integration, setting new hires up for instant success.

  • HR Consultation and Support: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, providing strategic guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Talent Acquisition Support: Screen candidates with precision, conduct insightful interviews, and collaborate on recruitment strategies that attract top talent and build our dream teams.

  • Leave Balance Management: Maintain and amend employee leave records accurately, ensuring balances are up-to-date and compliant while supporting managers with approvals.

  • Offboarding and Transitions: Manage smooth farewells, including administrative close-outs and knowledge transfers, to maintain continuity and strong relationships.

  • Data and Reporting: Generate insightful HR reports, track metrics, and leverage data (with expertise in BambooHR) to inform strategic decisions that drive our growth.

  • Policy and Compliance Champion: Update and enforce HR policies, conduct audits, and stay ahead of legislative changes to protect our team and business.

What We're Looking For – Non-Negotiables:




  • 2-3+ Years HR Administration Experience: You know the landscape inside out and are ready to hit the ground running.

  • Laser-Sharp Attention to Detail: Mistakes? Not in your vocabulary – precision is your superpower.

  • Unshakeable Under Pressure: Deadlines energize you; they don't stress you out – you're the calm in the storm.

  • Master Organizer: Complexity becomes clarity when you're around; you turn busy workflows into streamlined efficiency effortlessly.

  • Exceptional Organizational Skills and Ability to Multitask: Juggle priorities seamlessly while staying proactive and detail-oriented.

  • SA Labour Law Knowledge: LRA, BCEA, EEA are familiar territory – you're compliance-savvy and proactive.

  • Communication Excellence: You write like a pro and speak with confidence, making every interaction impactful.

  • Absolute Discretion: Confidentiality is second nature to you – trust is everything in this role.
