A professional
quantity surveying firm based in Techno Park requires a proactive, diligent and
tech-savvy Personal Assistant to two directors. This is a full-time job, based
in-office, with loads of flexibility around working hours. Preference will be
given to Afrikaans speaking candidates based in the Helderberg region.
Financial Function, Including:
Submit bank statements to auditors
Electronic payments (when approved)
Administrative Responsibilities:
Emails and general communication
All statutory & regulatory reports and submissions
Insurance policies and claims
Utilities management
Contract management
Renewal of licences
Electronic (cloud) filing system
Travel arrangements
Visa arrangements
Additional administrative duties as required
3–5 years of relevant experience in a senior administrative position with some financial administration experience
Computer literate
Afrikaans speaking (preferred, not essential)
Advanced Excel skills
MS Office
Online banking
Xero or Sage experience preferable
Bilingual – strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Diligent
Previous experience in a small team environment
Strong work ethic
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Well organised, with excellent administrative skills
Must have a service-focused “can-do” attitude
Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
