KFC Rohloff Group is seeking a dependable and motivated Plumbing Assistant to support the Plumbing Specialist in the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of plumbing systems across its franchise network. This hands-on support role is vital to ensuring water efficiency, compliance with health and safety standards, and consistent operational continuity within restaurant environments.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

• Assist with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems.


• Support routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.


• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for plumbing jobs.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and service vehicles.


• Monitor and restock basic plumbing supplies and consumables.


• Assist in identifying and reporting plumbing issues or potential hazards.


• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.


• Provide support during emergency repairs and after-hours callouts when required.


• Site preparation

What You Bring to the Table:

• Matric (Grade 12)
  
  
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a plumbing or technical support role
  
  
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and components
  
  
• Relevant vocational training or willingness to pursue trade certification
  
  
• Valid driver’s license
  
  
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
