Pre-sorter Manager

 Responsibilities:

• Manage effective fruit grading according to provided quality and size specifications.
• Effectively manage all pre-sorting processes to meet efficiency and throughput targets.
• Fully utilise the pre-sorting software to ensure continuous improvement of sorting accuracy.
• Interpret data to support maximum output of fruit according to quality specification.
• Lead and develop a team of ±30 people.
• Ensure correct working methods and procedures are adhered to with regards to personnel safety and food safety (OHS & BRC). 

Requirements:

• Industrial Engineering, Production Management or similar qualification will be advantageous
• 2 years’ working experience in a production environment
• Intermediate computer literacy – Excel skills
• Knowledge of fruit quality standards advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
