Production Planner & Scheduler

EDUCATION:         Matric

                             Tertiary qualification in Production Management / Operations Management /

                             Industrial Engineering or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:     2-3 years manufacturing experience

REQUIREMENTS: SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook essential

                             MRP, Production planning and capacity planning experience essential

Key Accountabilities

• Release jobs on a daily basis as per the production schedule on time in accordance with set deadlines
• Advise and provide data for manufacturing departments to monitor service levels as per requirements
• Monitor capacity in conjunction with Line Leaders and Production Planning
• Provide information of priorities to manufacturing departments
• Advise the MRP Manager of any major bottle necks, current and future
• Advise the MRP Manager of any possible unforeseen delays in production
• Input and schedule of Network & Contract jobs
• Expedite procurement, production activities and material shortages
• Ability to create non-standard routings.
• To be fully aware of their responsibility and obligation to Health and Safety
• Comply with and enforce all KSB Policies and Procedures

• Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required

Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
