We are seeking a Programme Delivery and Operations Lead for an NPO to manage end-to-end project execution, funder reporting, and operational systems. Central to these responsibilities is supporting field and project implementation teams through structured planning, logistical coordination, emergency risk mitigation and reporting. The position facilitates collaboration between operational units, impact evaluation teams, and funding partners to ensure high-quality standards and sustainable project outcomes.
Through active oversight of project management workflows, operational controls, and multi-stakeholder relationships, the role contributes directly to strategic growth, shared leadership, and organizational development goals.
Key Responsibilities
Translate project proposals into structured, actionable delivery plans across internal, external, and funded initiatives.
Support, resource, and maintain project implementation teams while providing field emergency risk management.
Coordinate travel logistics, trip planning activities, post-trip debriefs, and the documentation of key learnings.
Identify, engage with, and document strategic partnerships and regional stakeholder relationships.
Track project deliverables, targets, and scope changes in alignment with organizational standards and impact frameworks.
Compile and submit detailed project reports adhering strictly to funder guidelines and delivery expectations.
Coordinate project management and project finance system alignment within Odoo.
Oversee project budgets, track line-item expenditures against actuals, and manage restricted funds alongside finance teams.
Act as the operational point of contact for project funders, attending meetings and nurturing long-term investor relationships.
Represent project delivery at operational leadership levels, contributing to strategic planning and shared culture initiatives.
Recognised qualification in Project Management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management or operational delivery role.
Ability to work full-time in-office in Ottery, Cape Town.
Willingness to learn about disability inclusion and integrate it into operational delivery/a passion for NPO projects and wanting to make a difference
Experience in social enterprise, non-profit, or community development environments an advantage
Proven track record in funder reporting and stakeholder engagement an advantage
