Project/Maintenance Manager

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the full lifecycle management of projects and ongoing maintenance operations at a client site.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12).
  
• N Diploma/B Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Compulsory)
  
• N Diploma/B Degree in Project Management(Advantage).
  
• Project Management accreditation.(SACPCMP and/or PMP)
  
• ECSA Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech Eng (Advantage)​
  

Experience:

7–10 years’ experience in electrical engineering and project management

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing large -scale electrical programs.

Experience in managing cross -functional teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in site -based operations and maintenance environments

Proven experience managing client contracts and SLAs

Requirements

Required Knowledge

• Electrical systems design (MCCs, drives, transformers)
  
• PLC programming, SCADA and HMI systems
  
• Control & Instrumentation systems
  
• Industrial networking (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
  
• Preventative and predictive maintenance systems
  
• Commissioning and fault -finding of electrical systems
  
• Diesel generators and backup power systems
  
• Health & Safety legislation (OHSA)
