Property Accountant

• Preparation of the schedules for the Monthly Management
  Meeting
  
• Responsible for consolidating all the schedules,
  preparing, printing and final distribution of the Management Packs
  
• Check the accuracy of the entries in MDA and
  arrange for correcting entries to be passed
  
• Prepare and Finalize the Annual Budgets
  
• Update MDA with the Final Approved Budgeted
  figures
  
• Dealing with Financial queries from Tenants,
  Head Office, Owners, Contractors & Customers
  
• Ultimately responsible for the collection of
  rentals from Tenants
  
• Manage the Legal Process with the Attorneys
  
• Ensure that all Leases are captured into MDA and
  that the system is 100% up to date
  
• Carry out a full Lease Audit every twelve/eighteen
  months
  
• Ensure that  Annual Assessment Rates, Water, Electricity
  and CID Levy Increases (are recovered from tenants)
  
• Ensure that all Accounts are paid timeously
  
• In the absence of The General Manager take
  responsibility of the running of the Gauteng Region
  
• Responsible for all other functions that are
  reasonably requested by the Management or the
  Building Owner
  

Requirements

• Matric
  
• B Com - accounting/ finance
  
• 3 -5 years experience in a similar role within the property management industry
