An established and highly respected property management firm in the Western Cape is seeking an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join their dynamic team and take ownership of a portfolio of approximately 18 residential and mixed-use schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration & Advisory

• Manage and renew insurance policies for community scheme assets.
• Assist trustees with legal and procedural matters, including compliance with the Sectional Titles Act.
• Facilitate insurance claims and coordinate valuations.
• Support with CSOS submissions, rule amendments, and implementation of internal governance documents.
• Provide expert guidance on special levies, arrears reports, and portal usage for owners and trustees.

Secretarial Duties

• Coordinate and facilitate AGMs, SGMs, and Trustee meetings (including online/hybrid formats).
• Prepare and distribute all necessary meeting documentation and minutes.
• Maintain statutory records, levy resolutions, and official scheme documentation.
• Handle correspondence including circulars, notices, and penalty letters.

Accounting & Reporting

• Validate supplier invoices and coordinate payment approvals.
• Explain annual budgets and levy increases to trustees and members.

Maintenance Coordination

• Source and vet suppliers for maintenance needs.
• Facilitate repair quotes and liaise with trustees and service providers.
• Conduct periodic site visits and compile inspection reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 2 years experience managing sectional title property portfolios
• Tertiary qualification or a Sectional Title Certificate/Diploma (advantageous)
