• Cost Estimation: Accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction and development projects, ensuring alignment with project scope for QSR outlets.
  
  
• Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to allocated resources throughout the project.
  
  
• Procurement:
  Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, evaluating tenders, and negotiating contracts to secure the best value for goods and services.
  
  
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential financial and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery and cost.
  
  
• Cost Analysis: Perform continuous cost analysis and value engineering to optimize expenditures while maintaining quality and performance standards.
  
  
• Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records, including bills of quantities, tender documents, contract variations, and financial reports.
  
  
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets established quality standards and specifications by collaborating with site teams and monitoring materials and standards.
  
  
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors and vendors to communicate project progress, and budgets.
  
  
• Compliance:
  Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations, building codes, including health and safety standards.
  
  
• Cost Tracking: Monitor and report on real-time project expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to maintain financial control.

• National Senior Certificate (NSC)
• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering
• Professional Certificate as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g. RICS, CIQS)
• Experience in QSR/ Retail development
• Minimum of 4 years in Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry
• Knowledge on sustainable and green building practices
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and Negotiations skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of s teams
