*Reservations Management:* Handle guest reservations, including bookings, modifications, and cancellations. Ensure accuracy of reservation details and maintain up-to-date records.
*Front Desk Operations:* Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally. Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or staff members as needed.
*Guest Services:* Provide information and assistance to guests regarding lodge activities, local attractions, and wildlife sightings. Address guest concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
*Administrative Support:* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
*Cash Handling:* Process guest payments, including room charges, deposits, and incidental expenses. Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions accurately.
*Safety and Security:* Monitor lobby area for suspicious activity and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. Follow established procedures in case of emergencies.
Requirements:*
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a lodge or hotel environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software. Experience with hospitality management software is a plus.
Knowledge of local attractions, wildlife, and activities in the area is desirable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and guest information.
Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to providing outstanding service to guests.
