Job Title: Regional Marketer
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
About the role
We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and execution -focused Regional Brand Marketer to drive brand visibility, engagement, and growth across South Africa. This role requires a strong storyteller who can translate business objectives into compelling campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential marketing channels.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional content creation skills with strong project and vendor management capabilities, ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives across diverse markets and audiences.
Key responsibilities:
1. Brand and content marketing
Develop and execute regional brand marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
Create compelling content across multiple formats, including:
Social media posts and campaigns
Video concepts and scripts
Customer success stories and case studies
Event and webinar promotions
Internal communications
Write engaging copy for offline marketing assets, including:
Billboard and outdoor advertising
Radio advertisements
Print campaigns
Event branding and signage
Ensure brand consistency across all regional communications and touchpoints.
2. Social media management
Plan, manage, and execute regional social media strategies across multiple platforms.
Develop content calendars aligned with campaign objectives, product launches, and regional events.
Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on audience engagement and insights.
Work closely with design and video teams to create impactful visual storytelling.
3. Campaign execution
Support end -to -end planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, approvals, and stakeholder communications.
Collaborate with product, sales, partner, and regional teams to amplify campaign impact.
4. Vendor and agency management
Manage relationships with creative agencies, media partners, production houses, printers, event vendors, and freelancers.
Coordinate quotations, contracts, timelines, and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand standards.
Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for optimization and cost efficiency.
5. Event and brand activations
Prepare pre promotion event strategy
Develop and execute interactive brand activations across events
Promote event presence and participation via social media involving relevant stakeholders
6. Project and operations management
Maintain detailed project plans, content calendars, campaign trackers, and budgets.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines across different markets.
Ensure efficient coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Drive operational excellence through strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
2 -3 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, communications, or a related role.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with experience creating content across digital and traditional channels.
Proven experience writing video scripts, advertising copy, social media content, and campaign messaging.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and audience engagement.
Experience managing agencies, vendors, and marketing partners.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast -paced environment.
Experience working across multiple countries or regions is highly desirable.
Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance reporting is a plus.
