Reliability Engineer (Electrical)

Our client, a prominent manufacturer and seller of base chemicals, is seeking a talented Reliability Engineer (Electrical) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop preventative maintenance strategies following Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
• Lead management of change initiatives to stabilize and optimize the electrical network.
• Manage electrical projects and initiate energy efficiency solutions across the organization.
• Measure and improve equipment reliability through continuous monitoring and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years' experience in maintenance projects, preferably in a chemical processing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SCADA, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• Position reports to the Electrical Manager.
• Full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 is required.
• Further responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
