Position: Associate Merchandise Manager
Job Type: Full-Time - 100% Remote
Working hours:  8 am - 5 pm EST, Flexible

What You’ll be Doing

• The Associate Merchandise Manager owns the presentation and performance of a group of the company vendors, creates and curates the digital content for these brands, ensuring the content is presented with style, quality, and accuracy.
• Support the Director of Merchandising by communicating daily with vendors, developing strong partnerships to improve performance not only on sales, but also on operational improvements to minimize returns and claims.
• Curate lighting product assortments and manage new product upload queue, category builds, and product detail maintenance, ensuring the best presentation and accuracy of products, with the support of Assistant Site Merchandisers.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on promotional calendaring for a portfolio of the company's brands.
• Understand customer needs, both existing and potential. Use that knowledge to advocate for and drive site features that provide the company’s customers with a best-in-class experience.
• Work cross-functionally with internal team members on site optimizations such as product recommendations and search and browse improvements.
• Develop collaborative marketing and promotional opportunities to drive sales growth and margin improvements.
• Assist with reporting on KPIs, including sales, conversion and AOV, using data-driven insight and conducting deep dives to understand customer behaviors and trends.
• Monitor competitor/industry developments.
• Liaise with internal and external partners on ad-hoc tasks and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketing or related field, or minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
• Able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
• Sense of urgency, detail-oriented, and able to provide clear and thorough communication.
• Express ideas precisely, persuasively, and effectively.
• Must be able to operate independently with minimal daily supervision.
• Commitment to and passion for continuous improvement.
• Experience with the following systems is preferred: Microsoft Office, NetSuite
