AO Supply Chain Specialist

As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-driven AO Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement, logistics, and compliance efforts within the Asset Operations department.

As the AO Supply Chain Specialist, you will manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, inventory, and logistics for operational renewable energy sites. This role ensures alignment with BBBEE, preferential procurement policies, and company sustainability goals.

  Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support operational objectives

  Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiations, and vendor onboarding

  Ensure compliance with B-BBEE regulations and preferential procurement requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee inventory and logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective equipment delivery

  
  


• 
  

  Lead supplier evaluations, contract management, and audits

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and report on procurement KPIs and stock levels

  
  


• 
  

  Utilize CMMS and ERP systems to manage spare parts and inventory

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with site teams and the sustainability department to forecast and meet operational needs

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate supply chain documentation, contracts, and compliance records

  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• 
  

  National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations

  
  


• 
  

  Deep knowledge of South Africa’s B-BBEE and procurement policies

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience using ERP systems and CMMS for inventory control

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects
