Envusa - Project Administrator (Sishen Solar PV Project)

Envusa Energy is licensed energy trader jointly owned by EDF Renewables and Anglo American. Envusa is, focused on delivering innovative and industry leading renewable energy solutions to private offtakers across Southern Africa and has a stated aim of developing a 3 to 5GW Renewable Energy generation portfolio by 2030 off the back of secured offtake. Construction of the first 520MW of wind and solar energy is at an advanced stage and will start delivering electricity to offtakers in end of 2025.

We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Project Administrator to provide comprehensive support to the Sishen Solar PV Project team. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with the Construction Manager, project stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective document management, coordination of logistics, and smooth internal and external communications. Your attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities will play a critical role in ensuring the project runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplies, accommodation, travel, vehicle coordination, and stationery for site and office-based team members

• Arrange catering and groceries for project events and daily site needs

• Onboard suppliers in the financial platform for payment processing

• Take and collate minutes for construction and project manager meetings

• Support ED compliance through documentation and administrative help to the CLO/SRM

• Collect and coordinate contractor documentation for compliance and milestone payment claims

• Format correspondence, prepare document templates, paginate/index documents

• Archive and maintain accessible hard copies of project documentation

• Support internal communication, team reporting, and external reporting obligations

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination

• Matric certificate (essential)

• Diploma in Administration or a related field (preferred)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally in a project execution or construction environment

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Proficiency in document formatting, report writing, and professional communication

• Experience working with contractors, document controllers, and multidisciplinary teams

• A proactive, organized, and dependable team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of tracking documentation, follow-ups, and compliance tasks
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and interpersonal competence
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and support a dynamic team environment
• Someone with high energy, motivation, and a solutions-driven mindset
