As an Intake Specialist specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will play a vital role in our organization by managing the intake process for clients seeking ABA services. Your responsibilities will include obtaining necessary information from families, coordinating with clinicians, and ensuring a seamless transition into our ABA programs. We are looking for a compassionate and organized individual who is passionate about supporting individuals with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and gather comprehensive information from clients and families regarding their needs and background.
• Coordinate the scheduling of evaluations and intakes with the ABA team.
• Provide education to families about ABA services, processes, and available resources.
• Document all client interactions accurately in the database, maintaining confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with therapists and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Assist in identifying barriers to service access and recommend solutions to improve client experiences.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; relevant certifications in ABA preferred.
• Experience in a role focused on client intake or support within the healthcare or behavioral health sectors.
• Understanding of ABA principles and ability to communicate them effectively to families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in electronic record-keeping and familiarity with billing systems.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry regulations.
