Personal Assistant (In Cape Town Based)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and resourceful Personal Assistant based in South Africa — ideally familiar with Cape Town — to assist an entrepreneur and executive career coach who works with professionals around the world. The role involves supporting him with local logistics and accommodation planning in Cape Town.

The initial focus will be on sourcing and booking high-quality Airbnbs for the upcoming December–January season, when demand is high. After that, there will be ongoing assistance with various personal and logistical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Research and recommend safe, well-rated Airbnbs in desirable Cape Town areas.
• Communicate with Airbnb hosts and handle booking logistics.
• Compare accommodation options for price, location, amenities, and safety.
• Provide local insights and recommendations as needed.
• Support with occasional administrative and personal errands.
• Keep clear, organized records of all bookings and correspondence.

Requirements

• Must be based in South Africa, preferably in or near Cape Town.
• Excellent knowledge of Cape Town neighborhoods and safety considerations.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience using Airbnb and other accommodation or travel platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.

Work Schedule

• Immediate start preferred.
• Approximately 10–20 hours per week for the next few weeks (November–December).
• Then 5–10 hours per week for the following 3 months (January–March).

• Rate: $10 USD per hour

• Location: Remote (South Africa—preferably Cape Town)

• Type: Part-Time, Hourly Contract
