Key Output

• Manage and enrolment machine connectivity and subscriptions.

• Liaise with product support, sales, service to drive digital excellence targets.

• Implement, deploy Day 1 Metrics across the Isando region.

• Maintain Subscription level accuracy.

• Manage all customer Data consent.

• Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership.

• To interpret and Analyse machine health reports and recommend preventative measures to Internal and External customers.

• Manage electronic alarms from equipment and ensure prompt recommendations.

• Interpretation of health reports

• Recommendation of preventative measures to clients

• Help with Continuous improvements of reports.

• Monitor equipment performance and evaluate equipment history and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance.

• Supporting RCA sessions where there are significant reliability problems. Develop corrective actions and track results to a successful conclusion. Originates and develops analysis methods for determining the reliability of components, equipment, and processes. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements.

• Analysis of machine KPI’s received from on-board and off-board tools with a focus on key customers and events.

• Provide remote support and advisory to CM, PSSR, ISR, etc. to optimize production and fleet performance.

• Support technology specialists’ level 1, level 2, and level 3, by performing and analyzing failure trends of technology products for root cause analysis and future preventative failure

• Support onsite condition monitoring teams ( CSA,CVA)

• PSE (Connected Machines) – Sales funnel management

• Interpretation of the condition monitoring elements.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 12,

• Qualified artisan with sound machine and component operational knowledge equivalent technical background and qualification.

• Sound business communication and presentation skills

• Sound MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, word).

• Experience in an earthmoving environment

• Good understanding of CAT mining product line

• Exposure in a mining/condition monitoring environment will be and added advantage

• Knowledge of CAT technology products
