Join a fully remote team where you'll engage directly with business owners, secure high-value acquisition meetings, and play a key role in outbound pipeline development.


Location: South Africa (Fully Remote) | Working Arrangement: Remote | Working Hours: Flexible UK hours (08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00) | Salary: R35,000 per month base salary + performance-based bonus structure

THE ROLE: SENIOR SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR)


This role is responsible for leading high-level outbound prospecting to engage business owners and secure targeted acquisition introduction meetings for the company's Directors. Rather than focusing on closing sales, the position centres on establishing credibility with senior decision-makers through professional, consultative conversations and building a consistent pipeline of qualified meetings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling and outreach to targeted business owners identified through research.

  • Engage with C-suite executives and founders to explain why their business has been selected for an acquisition conversation.

  • Maintain an authoritative, consultative, and professional communication style during outbound interactions.

  • Secure, confirm, and schedule acquisition introduction meetings.

  • Coordinate meeting invitations using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline capable of delivering approximately 40 high-quality meetings per month following the training period.

  • Independently manage daily project assignments and sales pipeline progression with minimal supervision.


ABOUT YOU



  • Significant professional experience as a Senior SDR, Business Development Representative (BDR), or Inside Sales Team Lead.

  • Proven expertise in outbound phone prospecting, high-volume cold calling, and appointment setting.

  • Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings and managing sales pipelines.

  • Experience using Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom.

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with a polished, authoritative, and professional phone presence.

  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with business owners and senior executives.

  • Strong autonomous working style with the ability to self-manage workloads.

  • Genuine passion for the appointment-setting stage of the sales process.

  • Non-negotiable: Exceptional corporate phone presence and confidence conducting high-volume outbound cold calling.

  • Reliable high-speed home internet connection.

  • Functional UPS or alternative backup power solution.
