We’re looking for a reliable Tax Specialist Contractor to support our growing tax advisory practice. This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who enjoys tax preparation and wants the flexibility of contract work.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Prepare business and individual tax returns.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with tax compliance work for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare tax workpapers and supporting schedules.

  
  


• 
  

  Reconcile financial statements and identify items that require tax adjustments.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate questions or issues proactively and complete work by established deadlines.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  1–3+ years of experience in business and/or individual tax preparation.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with U.S. tax compliance.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with ProConnect Tax is a plus, but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
