Our client is looking for an experienced Solar Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery and long-term performance of solar projects, with a focus on large-scale PV systems. This role is suited to someone with strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, and the ability to lead teams and contractors effectively.

What we are looking for

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience in solar or renewable energy, including project and contract management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing people and resources.
• Strong understanding of SHEQ, compliance, and environmental management.
• Solar Installation project management experience
• Contract Management experience
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• SAP proficient
• Confident communicator who can work well with clients and stakeholders.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of solar sites.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Monitor site performance, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Handle procurement, stock control, and warehouse processes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with clients, sales teams, and engineers to deliver the best project outcomes.
