Job Description - Reservations / Admin


Reservations / Admin (Accounting Focused) – Luxury Lodge – Remote (Johannesburg or Pretoria Based)

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Reservations / Admin professional for a luxury lodge, working remotely. This role is ideally suited to a candidate based in Johannesburg or Pretoria with a strong accounting background within the hospitality industry.

While reservations duties form part of the role, the accounting experience is essential. Reservations systems and processes can be taught, but a solid financial foundation within hospitality is non\-negotiable.

This is a work\-from\-home position requiring flexibility, accuracy and responsiveness, particularly when new bookings are received.

Key Responsibilities:



• Manage reservations, enquiries and related booking administration



• Process new bookings accurately and timeously



• Assist with invoicing, reconciliations, payments and financial administration



• Support bookkeeping functions and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date



• Maintain reservation systems and guest information



• Provide general administrative support linked to lodge operations



• Communicate professionally with guests and relevant stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:



• Strong accounting background within the hospitality industry (essential)



• Experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial administration



• Previous exposure to lodge or hospitality environments



• Reservations experience advantageous but not essential



• Strong administrative and organisational skills



• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively



• Must be based in Johannesburg or Pretoria



• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup

Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 DOE
