Reservations Consultant

Reservations Consultant | Luxury Lodge & Hotel Group | Bryanston, Johannesburg

Kendrick Recruitment is searching for an experienced and detail-driven Reservations Consultant for a well-regarded luxury lodge and hotel group based at their Bryanston offices in Johannesburg, managing reservations across multiple properties.

This is an office-based role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced reservations environment, communicates with confidence and takes genuine pride in accurate, efficient booking administration.

Please note: Candidates must be based in Johannesburg. Relocation will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in a reservations or tourism/travel environment, managing multiple properties – essential
  


• Proficient in eRES, Nebula, Opera and/or Apex – advantageous
  


• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  


• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  


• Well-organised with strong time management and attention to detail
  


• Solid interpersonal skills and a genuine team player
  


• Able to work accurately under pressure
  


• Dynamic, flexible and self-motivated
  


• Valid South African ID – essential
  


• Presentable appearance and professional manner
  


• Stable work history with contactable references
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all daily administrative tasks related to the reservations function across the group's property portfolio
  


• Handle all guest and agent enquiries via telephone and email professionally and timeously
  


• Process bookings, amendments and cancellations accurately across all properties and platforms
  


• Maintain accurate records and ensure all reservation data is up to date
  


• Support the Reservations Manager with reporting and any additional operational requirements
  

Package

• CTC: R20,000 to R25,000 per month
  


• Provident Fund: 5% mandatory employee contribution included in CTC
  


• Medical Aid available as part of the CTC package
  


• Live-out, office-based position in Bryanston
