Retail Project Manager (Cape Town)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT projects across the retail value chain, including POS, ERP, merchandising, supply chain, eCommerce, and store systems
  

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  

• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
  

• Drive system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts across multiple retail locations
  

• Ensure projects align with business objectives and retail operational needs
  

• Apply strong governance, documentation, and reporting standards
  

• Support change management, user adoption, and post -implementation reviews
  

Requirements

Key Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within Retail or FMCG
  

• Strong understanding of retail systems (POS, ERP, WMS, merchandising, loyalty, etc.)
  

• Proven experience managing vendors, system integrators, and internal teams
  

• Solid grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast -moving retail environment
