Retail store assistant - Full time

Weare looking for vibrant retail assistants for our Hout Bay store, available forfull-time permanent position.Asthe Retail shop assistant you will be responsible for the day-to-day salesin-store and tasks assigned to you by the retail manager. JobRequirements:· An energetic personality, a greatcommunicator and passionate about building a business, driving sales, workingwith a team and focusing on customer service. · Matric essential, Minimum of 1 yearsretail store experience in fashion/footwear preferred · Prepared to work retail hours(including weekends, holidays and overtime)· Retail system and excel exposurepreferred Typicalwork activities· Create and develop fantastic customerrelationships· Merchandise the stock in store andprepare promotion displays· Follow product management processesinvolving ordering, receiving, price changes, handling damaged products, andreturns· Meet or exceed Monthly / Quarterly /Annual sales target· Protect customers and fellow staff byensuring a safe and clean store environment· Follow loss prevention plan to preventtheft of stock and store takings· Prevent and deal with customer theft· Update management on the store’sperformance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues· Cash up and banking at the end of theday· Conducting stocktakes · Provide feedback on trends, customercomments local competitor’s undertakings to facilitate planning and forecastingof future sales· Maintain and enhance the reputation ofthe storeSendyour CV to [email protected] with photo.Application sent with no photos will not be considered.
