Revit Designer/BIM Technician - StellenboschFull job descriptionGLSW // JOB DESCRIPTION // 2024POSITION: Revit Designer/BIM TechnicianFUNCTION: Wayfinding signage 3D Revit DesignerLOCATION: Stellenbosch, South AfricaPOSITION: Full time, in officeLEVEL: Junior, Midweight, Senior positions availableSTART DATE: 1st March 2024Revit Designer/BIM TechnicianAn exciting, dynamic and well respected international design firm specialized in wayfinding strategy and signage design has a new office based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.If you’re passionate about design, collaborative, detail oriented and are excited to work on property and hospitality development projects around the world, please send your CV.We are recruiting for junior, mid-level and senior BIM/Revit draughtsman.Roles and responsibilities:· Role: Signage and wayfinding Revit designer· Signage location plans in Revit, inclusive of tagging, bills of quantity and content creation· Wayfinding strategy creation· Creating message schedules· Creating bills of quantity· Placement of Rhino models into BIM Revit models· BIM coordination including working on Cloud models on ACC and BIM 360Successful candidates:· Will have the ability to work independently and to coordinate with local and international teams· Have a passion for design and the particular software they are required to work in· Strong knowledge of Revit Architecture with the ability to create families, tags, and set parameters from scratch.· Minimum 3 years experience in BIM/Revit modelling· Clash detection skills· BIM model coordination, management and integrationQualifications:Degree/Diploma in any of these fields:· Architecture· Interior Architecture· Must be Autodesk professional certifiedJob Type: Full-timePay: R16 000,00 - R25 000,00 per monthEducation:Diploma (Preferred)Experience:Revit: 3 years (Preferred)BIM/ Revit Modelling: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Autodesk Professional Certified (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Stellenbosch, Western Cape (Required)Application Deadline: 2024/06/30
