Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on RevOps Team Lead in Johannesburg. You are the person who knows HubSpot inside out, keeps it clean, safe and fast, and can debug a broken workfl ow with your eyes closed. Reporting to the Head of RevOps, you will be the technical owner of our HubSpot instance (Enterprise Sales Hub and Marketing Pro) and build the GTM systems roadmap together with him.

You will lead the RevOps team, set their execution priorities, unblock technical issues, and make sure the systems behind Sales, Marketing, CS and Partnerships work.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience: Deep expertise in Sales Hub and Marketing Hub, covering objects, associations, properties, pipelines, lifecycle stages, workfl ows, permissions, and data quality. You've built it, not just used it. Certifi cation is an advantage.
• 1+ years of team leadership: Experience mentoring, guiding, or acting as an escalation point for a team in a GTM systems or RevOps environment.
• Debugging speed: Find the root cause of a data or automation issue quickly and fi x it with an eye on everything downstream.
• End-to-end execution: Track record of building marketing campaigns (emails, forms, landing pages, nurture fl ows) and dashboards that leadership actually uses.
• Solid GTM process grasp: Understanding of lead-to-cash, pipeline management, inbound/outbound fl ows, and customer success, with the technical fl uency to evaluate APIs, integrations, and data models.
• Strong communication: Ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and CS, using evidence to build consensus before rolling out system changes.
• Proactive learning: Get up to speed quickly on new tools, processes and problems.

What You’ll Do

• Own HubSpot: Serve as the technical owner of our HubSpot instance: data model, permissions, data quality, integrations and technical debt. Keep it running, secure and well-governed, partnering with the Head of RevOps on architecture and roadmap.
• Build and Automate: Design and implement workflows, campaigns, dashboards, and reporting that accelerate the revenue engine from lead capture to renewal.
• Drive AI Adoption: Integrate AI-powered agents, automations, and AI-native workflows into our GTM systems to create operational leverage.
• Lead the Team: Manage, mentor, and set daily execution priorities for the RevOps team.
• Partner Cross-Functionally: Translate business needs from Sales, Marketing, Finance, CS, and Partnerships into scalable technical solutions.
• Own Problems End to End: Investigate root business challenges, drive implementation, measure outcomes, and proactively propose process improvements.
• Shape the Stack: Contribute to the GTM tooling roadmap, manage vendors and licensing, and evaluate emerging technologies.
