Are you someone who can:
Identify, control and escalate potential risks which may lead to increased costs
Manage costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies
Deliver against operational and cost targets
Prioritise resource allocation in order to minimise and reduce wastage
Build and maintain relationships for the purposes of reciprocally managing expectations, sharing knowledge and diverse insights, and creating buy-in
Engage in cross-functional relationships in order to obtain and to provide work support
Assess, analyse and optimise end-to end business processes that are signed off by the business by documenting business process requirements through research, interviews or facilitation sessions and assessing current business processes, procedures and business rules to identify automation possibilities
Manage the process of compiling business and functional specification documents
Maintain documentation related to process maps, business requirements, functional and technical specification, system development, testing and go-live sign off
Ensure developers deliver a solution that meets the business requirements
Ensure the team follows the agreed processes in the Scrum framework
Facilitate key sessions and team events to ensure regular progress and encourage the team to improve
Help the team to determine the definition of work to be completed, with input from key stakeholders
Coach the development team in self-organisation and cross-functionality
Provide recommendations for improving processes by conducting analysis an identify alternative solutions
Redesign and reengineer existing business processes in order to deliver optimal Robotic Process Automation
Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability
Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the business
Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and FNB’s internal compliance procedures and requirements
Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by FNB
Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialisation and identify risks
Ensure optimal usage and protection of business assets
Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data
Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and in terms of overall customer targets
Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities
Identify effective activities to address own development gaps
Create own development plan and review plan with team leader or manager
Understand which competencies and skills are required to be mastered to ensure personal development and performance
Keep abreast of learning opportunities, changing products and trends
Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared
Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies
Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement
You will be an ideal candidate if you have:
BSc in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent
RPA accreditation through Blue Prism (advantageous)
Experience with RPA platforms with BluePrism preferred (any automation stack is advantageous)
Strong understanding of business process analysis and workflow design.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
2+ years of experience in the field
