Roll Shop Foreman

• Supervision and control of shop
  floor personnel, ensuring adherence to schedules and output targets.
  
• Machine setup and adjustment,
  ensuring operational performance and safety.
  
• Product inspection and
  conformance verification.
  
• Coordination of resources to
  optimize productivity and efficiency.
  
• Waste reduction and cost control.
  
• Enforce company policies and
  health and safety regulations.
  
• Maintain high standards of
  housekeeping and ensure compliance with production standards.
  
• Assist with reporting, procedural
  documentation, and staff motivation.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a
  Foreman/Supervisory role within a production environment.
  
• Diploma or equivalent
  qualification; further education in Management, Industrial Engineering, or
  related fields is advantageous.
  
• Qualified Artisan (Fitter &
  Turner or Boilermaker).
  
• Ability to read and interpret
  mechanical drawings.
  
• Strong shop floor and machine
  setup experience, including CNC machines.
  
• Excellent knowledge of cutting,
  drilling, tapping, and welding with a proven track record.
  
• Familiarity with the OSH Act,
  Safety, Health, and Environmental administration.
  
• Understanding of labour laws and
  basic industrial relations.
  
• Strong quality management
  background.
  
• Syspro experience is essential.
  
• Willingness and ability to work
  both day and night shifts.
