a Big 5 Game Reserve is looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Safari Operations Administrator to join our Guiding Department. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic safari environment and enjoys coordinating operations behind the scenes.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Guide and Guide Trainer through the effective administration of guide scheduling, training, compliance, reporting, vehicle and equipment records, helping to ensure the seamless delivery of exceptional safari experiences.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Departmental Administration

• Guide Scheduling & Operational Coordination

• Vehicle & Equipment Administration

• Compliance Administration

• Procurement & Financial Administration

• Training Administration

Requirements

Reporting & Document Control Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).

• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, Tourism Management or a related field will be advantageous.

• Minimum 2 years' administrative experience.

• Previous experience within a safari lodge, hospitality or tourism environment will be advantageous.

• Experience in scheduling, reporting and operational administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Fluent in English (an additional South African language will be advantageous).
