Sales and Field Support

Our client, a leading supplier of commercial grafted and engrafted vegetable seedlings, is seeking a Sales and Field Support individual for their Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.

The position will report to the National Sales Manager of the Nursery.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing of various seedlings & recruiting new business
• Maintenance and support of the existing client basis
• Sound communication with production team to ensure timeous delivery of seedlings to clients which are mostly farmers
• Follow-up & support to the clients with the relevant information to establishing & growing of seedlings

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary in Agriculture  i.e National Diploma, Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture 
• Relevant Marketing, sales & field support experience in the agricultural field will be advantageous
• Reliable, proactive & energetic
• Able to work independently & in teams
• Fluent in both English & Afrikaans
• Computer literate
• Valid Code 8 drivers license
