Red Ember Recruitment is looking for Fintech Sales Consultant in Cape Town. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, well-networked professional who ensures the company implementssales strategies to excel at client management and sales operations. The position requires a good generalinsight into the payment industry and the ability to optimize the salesforce infrastructure and to contributeto developing our growing customer base.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Relationship building

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients andemerging trends in the fintech industry.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target organizationsand establish relationships to generate sales leads.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business challengesand goals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations toshowcase the value proposition of the fintech solutions.
  • Collaborate with the product development and technicalteams to tailor fintech solutions to meet the unique requirements of clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscapeand position the company's products effectively.
  • Create and present compelling proposals, highlighting thebenefits and ROI of the fintech solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to negotiate contracts andclose deals.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients by providingongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, staying informed about industrytrends and advising clients on how to leverage fintech solutions to achieve their businessobjectives.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve andexceed revenue targets.
  • Continuously assess and refine sales strategies based onmarket feedback and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingmarketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide feedback from the field to contribute to theimprovement of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customerinteractions using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipelinestatus, and market trends.
  • Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldOR recognised business related diploma
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the fintech industryor banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial technology solutions andtrends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with keystakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Must have own vehicle and valid drivers
