Job Description - Sales Consultant - Vascular - Medical Devices | PE

We're looking for a driven, relationship -focused Sales Consultant to grow our Vascular business across the Port Elizabeth region. You'll partner with clinicians, hospitals, and key healthcare stakeholders to drive product adoption, support procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service while achieving ambitious sales targets.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales Growth

  • Grow and manage sales within your territory
  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and commercial opportunities

Support Clinical Customers

  • Attend theatre and procedure lists
  • Demonstrate products and provide clinical support
  • Deliver product training and education sessions
  • Promote product benefits to healthcare professionals

Build Relationships

  • Develop strong partnerships with surgeons, physicians, pharmacists, stock controllers, and hospital stakeholders
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and decision -makers
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction

Lead Marketing Activities

  • Support workshops, educational events, congresses, and training initiatives
  • Execute territory marketing plans
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Identify opportunities to grow product adoption

Manage Stock & Administration

  • Oversee consignment and allocated stock
  • Submit activity reports, call plans, and sales updates
  • Manage expenses in line with budget guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Requirements

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • Relevant degree or diploma - Medical, healthcare, or marketing qualifications beneficial

Experience

  • Proven sales experience
  • Medical device or healthcare sales experience essential
  • Knowledge of vascular, interventional radiology, or related clinical environments essential
  • Existing healthcare network within the region beneficial
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
