Job Description - Sales Development Representative (Golf / Sports Hospitality Experience)

Growth Resourcing is searching for a passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background in Golf or Sports Hospitality to join our dynamic team. This unique position combines your love for sports with your sales skills, enabling you to engage with clients in the vibrant sector of sports hospitality. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing leads in the golf and hospitality markets, using your industry knowledge to establish credibility and build relationships. Your role will involve conducting outreach campaigns, attending networking events, and utilizing CRM tools to track interactions and sales progress. We are looking for someone who thrives in a competitive environment, is knowledgeable about the sports industry, and has a knack for connecting with potential clients in an authentic manner.   • Background in golf, sports hospitality, luxury guest relations, or corporate events (e.g., country clubs, hospitality boxes, tournaments, high-end venues)
  • Experience in customer-facing roles where relationship building is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in engaging with professional and senior-level clients
  • Previous SDR/BDR or sales experience
  • Experience selling memberships, event packages, or hospitality services
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or other CRMs
  • A strong personal interest in sport, golf, or lifestyle brands

What You’ll Do

  • Research, identify and contact potential clients in the UK/EU market
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team through outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn)
  • Build strong rapport with clients using your knowledge of golf, sports events, or hospitality environments
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects
  • Use CRM tools to track leads, conversations and conversions
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies
