Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven, financially-motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This is a hunter role; you'll be at the front line of our business development efforts, running high-volume cold calling to identify and qualify new leads and opportunities. If you're energised by targets, thrive on the phone, and want your earnings tied directly to your effort, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities through high-volume cold calling

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients

• Research target markets and decision-makers to understand their business needs

• Work closely with the internal sales team to refine and progress opportunities

• Represent a global FX (foreign exchange) firm operating in the UK market, with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm

Requirements

• 1–2 years of sales experience (B2B preferred)

• FX (foreign exchange) experience strongly preferred, ideally within the UK market

• Proven track record in lead generation, cold calling, or sales support

• A true "hunter" mentality comfortable with high call volumes and rejection

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Confident on the phone and skilled at handling objections

• Highly motivated, target-driven, resilient, and financially ambitious

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
