Job Description - Sales Director

Our client is a cloud -based e -Invoicing and electronic VAT reporting platform, backed by over 20 years of global VAT expertise. They're growing fast — and they need a senior sales professional to own the revenue line.

This is a role for someone who closes.

The Role

This is a senior individual contributor position — not a management role with a team to hide behind.

You'll own the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract close, build and manage your own pipeline, and engage directly with senior decision -makers at target companies. You'll work alongside marketing and partnerships teams, but the revenue responsibility sits squarely with you.

If you have deep SaaS sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding targets, and the commercial instincts to navigate complex B2B deals — this is your next move.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to close
  • Build and maintain a high -quality pipeline across inbound, outbound, and partner referral channels
  • Engage senior decision -makers with tailored, solution -led presentations
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation strategies
  • Work with the partnerships team to leverage platform integrations and referral channels
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting via CRM
  • Develop and refine sales collateral, pitch decks, and proposals
  • Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
  • Mentor junior sales team members as needed


Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B sales within SaaS or tech (essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a Tech -related field
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Deep understanding of solution selling, SaaS metrics, and deal structuring
  • Strong grasp of B2B buying journeys and complex stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capability
  • Self -motivated, results -driven, and comfortable operating independently
