Sales Engineer - Rentals Global Grade 12

• Position Outputs
• Develop and close customer leads for Power Rental Projects, and achieve sales goals to enable the increase in market share in Southern Africa
  
• Responsible for sales of power rental products and auxiliary equipment
• Responsible for used sales of SA Power Rental Products into BWP territories within Southern Africa.
• Provide technical and commercial proposals by direct liaison with domestic and international clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers and grow order book.
• Visit various territories to hunt power rental business opportunities.
• Build and sustain excellent customer relationships with electric power and power rental industry stakeholders.
• Contribute to the growth of the Power Rental business by developing a robust opportunity pipeline
• Gather market and competitive intelligence and participate in creating a sustainable business.
• Commercial and contractual reviews ensuring Power Rental project deliverables are maintained.
• Management reporting
• Effective self-management, performance ownership, and priority setting

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Matric and Tertiary Qualification (Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related field)
• Minimum of two years of Technical Sales / Engineering experience in a Power Rental environment
• Two or more years of experience in Power Rental Projects 10MW and above
• Demonstrable product knowledge in Caterpillar Power Rental Products as well as auxiliary equipment
• Display exceptional knowledge of Southern Africa Market Conditions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Growth mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment

• Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards

• Excellent computer skills – Word Processing and Spreadsheet capabilities
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and collaboration abilities
