Job Description - Sales Manager




Sales Manager | Luxury Travel Company | Heidelberg (Hybrid/Remote)


Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Kendrick Recruitment is now searching for a strategic and driven Sales Manager to join a luxury travel company based in Heidelberg, with the flexibility of a hybrid or remote working environment for the right candidate. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales-focused professional with a flair for marketing, a passion for luxury travel, and a solid network within the international travel trade.




Your Role & Impact



The primary focus of this role is on sales strategy and execution, complemented by strong brand-building initiatives.

Sales & Brand Growth:



  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and brand visibility


  • Strengthen and expand relationships with international travel agents, particularly within the North American luxury travel market


  • Represent the company at trade shows (local, virtual, and overseas) and manage all post-show follow-ups


  • Plan and host educational trips, promotional events, and collaborative brand initiatives


  • Act as liaison between global travel agents and the in-house consultant team to ensure seamless customer experiences


Data & Insights:



  • Compile and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to guide decision-making


  • Maintain an up-to-date agent database and key industry memberships


  • Monitor and evaluate demographic data to support targeted sales efforts



What We’re Looking For:



  • Proven experience in a sales and marketing role within the luxury travel or hospitality sector


  • Existing network of industry contacts, especially in the North American luxury travel trade


  • Experience representing brands at trade shows (domestic and international)


  • Solid digital marketing skills including social media, email campaigns, and content development


  • Strong communication and negotiation skills


  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously


  • Proactive, creative, and results-driven with a genuine passion for luxury travel
