Job Description - Sales Rep/Key Account Manager Steel Manufacturing Industry

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Rep/Key Account Manager to join their team in the steel manufacturing industry based in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and building strong relationships with key accounts.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the stainless steel industry

Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competition to stay ahead of the market

Prepare and present sales proposals to key decision-makers

Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

Engineering qualifications, such as BEng or BSc / National Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering OR Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualifications (National Diploma / Degree).

5 years of proven sales / marketing experience / customer interaction, preferably from the Manufacturing environment.

Spanish speaking proficiency will be advantageous.

Demonstrated understanding and experience in effective team target setting and achievement.

Strong process and account management skills are a requirement, with sound negotiation – and presentation skills, which will be expected.

Consistently track, report, and analyse your sales pipeline to produce the volume and forecast accuracy required to deliver team and business goals.

Willingness to travel regularly to Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern/Western Cape or Gauteng will be required.

Computer literacy.
