Job Description - Sales Representative - Cape Town CBD

Overview

Are you a driven sales development professional with a proven track record in outbound sales and cold calling? VirtuHire is a rapidly expanding partner to a leading US-based financial services firm, and we're looking for a Sales Development Specialist to join our inaugural Cape Town office.

This is a chance to be part of a foundational team, contribute to a global brand, and help us scale our Cape Town office to over 100 sales professionals. Shape your career in an environment built for high-impact success.

Location: Premium Office, Cape Town CBD | Hours: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM SAST, On-site (Aligning with US business hours)

The Opportunity: Build Something Big

We're establishing a high-impact team ready to make a significant mark. We’ve successfully onboarded our first group of 24 sales professionals and are now looking for the next 24 to join us as we expand toward our goal of 100. This isn't just a job; it’s a chance to be at the forefront of a new venture, driving revenue and playing a key role in making our Cape Town office a major hub.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Representativet, you will be instrumental in driving growth for our client by:

  • Strategically engaging with outbound leads via cold calling and email, skillfully building rapport and generating interest.
  • Conducting comprehensive qualification processes to identify and leverage prime business opportunities.
  • Upholding a consistently professional, persuasive, and consultative sales approach.
  • Maintaining meticulous records within our CRM system to ensure optimal lead management.

Who We Are Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are driven and have a proven track record of sales success.

  • Proven Sales Acumen: You have at least one year of demonstrable success in a sales or business development environment.
  • Cold Calling Specialist: You have a proven track record of success in cold calling, outbound sales, or business development.
  • Strong on the Phone: You possess superior communication, negotiation, and active listening skills with an innate ability to build instant rapport.
  • Ambitious & Results-Driven: You thrive in a high-performance environment, relentlessly pursuing and exceeding targets.
  • Adaptable & Committed: You are fully comfortable and committed to working US hours on-site in our Cape Town CBD office.
  • Cape Town Based: You currently reside in Cape Town and are available for immediate on-site employment.
