Sales Representative - Food Services

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

• Identify, target, and onboard new clients within the food service industry.
  
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long -term partnerships.
  

  Sales Execution:

• Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to showcase our product offerings.
  Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and address any challenges.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutual satisfaction.
  

• Stay up -to -date with the full range of products (dry goods, frozen goods, cleaning materials, packaging, etc.).
  
• Provide customers with insights into product usage, benefits, and best practices.
  

• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  
• Provide feedback to management to adapt strategies and improve offerings.
  

Order Management:

• Process and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
  
• Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to guarantee high service levels.
  

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
  
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
  

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) required
  
• Diploma or degree in sales, business, or a related field is an advantage.
  
• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the food service, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
  
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the food industry is essential.
  
• Familiarity with food service products (dry goods, frozen goods, cleaning materials, packaging) is a strong advantage.
  
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
