Sales Specialist - Electrical Johannesburg

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years' external sales experience (lighting/electrical/construction advantageous)
• Strong project sales and specification-selling knowledge
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Computer literate (MS Office and CRM systems)
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
• Proven record of meeting sales targets

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, and project managers
• Identify new business across commercial, hospitality, residential, and retail sectors
• Promote and sell decorative, architectural, commercial, and smart lighting solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and product presentations
• Manage projects from enquiry through to after-sales support
• Conduct client visits and product demonstrations
• Achieve sales targets and monitor market/competitor trends
• Attend industry events and networking functions
