About the Role
Our client is recruiting an experienced Sales Trainer / Coach to support, develop, and elevate sales performance within a fast-paced, high-volume call centre environment.


This is a hands-on, floor-based role suited to someone who understands sales, knows how to close, and has the ability to transfer that knowledge to others. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Team Leaders, and Quality Assurance to onboard new hires, coach existing sales agents, identify performance gaps, and drive consistent daily results.


This role is ideal for a confident, energetic, and results-driven trainer who can motivate a sales floor, improve call quality, strengthen objection handling, and help sales teams perform at a higher level.


Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver structured onboarding and training programmes for new sales agents.

  • Prepare new hires to perform confidently in a high-performance sales environment.

  • Provide real-time coaching on closing techniques, objection handling, call control, and communication skills.

  • Work closely with Operations, Team Leaders, and Quality Assurance to identify coaching needs and performance trends.

  • Listen to live and recorded calls to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Deliver targeted refresher training to improve sales performance and consistency.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of sales processes, products, CRM systems, and dialler tools.

  • Create, update, and maintain training manuals, coaching materials, and practical learning resources.

  • Track training outcomes, graduation rates, and the performance of coached agents.

  • Support a culture of accountability, confidence, and continuous improvement on the sales floor.


Core Requirements



  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or similar role within a fast-paced call centre or BPO environment.

  • Strong background in sales, with the ability to coach others on high-performance selling.

  • Experience in financial sales or a similar target-driven sales environment would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of call centre operations, CRM platforms, dialler tools, and sales processes.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and live-floor coaching skills.

  • Strong objection-handling, communication, and motivational skills.

  • Ability to break down complex sales techniques into simple, practical steps.

  • Confident working with sales agents, team leaders, operations teams, and quality assurance.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

  • Fluent English communication skills.
