Job Description - SAP SD Functional Consultant (Expert)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: SAP SD Certification

Solid experience in SAP SD
Vehicle Management System (VMS) is an added advantage.
Expertise in MM
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

SAP S4HANA experience
Experience with Vehicle Management System (VMS)
ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications OR 10+ years of experience

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP SD and VMS Configuration.
Understanding business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtaining sign-off from users for Business Blueprint documents.
Analyzing and providing solutions to the Vehicle Sales process.
Updating and maintaining all SAP SD and VMS functional documentation.
Conducting Unit tests, Integration tests, and System Integration security tests.
System Monitoring including Idocs Monitoring and processing.
Following the Agile Methodology i.e sprints, scrum meetings, retros in a DevOps environment.
Integration testing with other modules.
Understanding interfaces, IDOCs, and RFCs processing.
Preparing the cut-over strategy for SD/VMS objects.
Preparing User manuals and conducting training for business process owners.
Go-live preparation and post Go-live support.
Interaction with clients through meetings, calls, and emails.
Handling Tickets and Tasks with the responsibility for closing them within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Troubleshooting system issues and providing support.
Executing required changes through configuration.
Executing analysis and resolution of Production Support calls.
Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing Functional Specifications for them.
Preparing test data for testing CRs (Change Requests).
Testing CRs (Change Requests) and preparing test results.
Carrying out regression testing.
Interacting with consultants of other modules.
User interface transactional solutions.
