About the Role
We are seeking a talented, driven Senior Accountant to join our team. If you are entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and passionate about shaping and enhancing the performance of online businesses, this role will be a strong fit.
This position builds on strong accounting fundamentals but adds greater ownership, client exposure, and oversight responsibility.
Role Description
Work alongside a Finance Manager and CFO to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting services to US-based online businesses.
As a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Take ownership of full monthly accounting cycles for multiple clients
- Review and oversee bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage complex reconciliations across bank, balance sheet, and control accounts
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and accruals
- Deliver accurate monthly management reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve financial issues
- Provide financial insight and commentary to support decision-making
- Assist in improving processes and implementing efficiencies
- Mentor and guide Junior Accountants where required

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial or Management Accounting
- 3–5+ years relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience managing full accounting cycles independently
- Advanced attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (advantageous)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across client portfolios
