SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (RETAIL & MNFR) - R 720k pa - TYGERVALLEY Area, CPT

This role is ideal for a hands -on finance professional who enjoys working in a fast -paced operational environment where inventory, stock control, costing, and multi -company financial management are central to the business.

You will take ownership of the full finance function across multiple entities within the group, working closely with management and operations to ensure accurate reporting, stock integrity, and strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Full financial management of multiple companies within the group
  
• Monthly management accounts and reporting
  
• Inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and stock control oversight
  
• Manufacturing costing and margin analysis
  
• Retail financial reporting and analysis
  
• Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity
  
• VAT calculations and submissions
  
• Cash flow management and forecasting
  
• Budgeting and variance analysis
  
• Assisting with annual audits and financial year -end processes
  
• Monitoring internal controls and identifying process improvements
  
• Working closely with operations regarding stock movement, shrinkage, and costing accuracy
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance
• Completed articles advantageous
  
• 3+ years’ experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
  
• Strong experience within Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, Wholesale, or Distribution environments
  
• Proven experience dealing with inventory and stock accounting
  
• Experience managing the full financial function across multiple entities
  
• Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
  
• High attention to detail with strong commercial understanding
  
• Able to work independently in an onsite environment
