Senior Accountant (SAIPA Registered)en

TreasuryONE, a leader in treasury management services and operational efficiency, seeks a qualified Accountant to drive financial excellence across our group of companies. This role emphasises complex statutory compliance, cross-entity financial consolidation, and strategic financial reporting, offering a platform to shape TreasuryONE’s financial governance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Prepare VAT returns, employment taxes, and dividend withholding tax filings.


• Maintain tax clearance certificates, register new employees, and submit statutory returns (IRP5, BEE).
  

Financial Reporting & Audit

• Collaborate with the CFO on annual budgets and monthly variance analysis to drive financial agility.


• Ensure audit readiness by coordinating with auditors and maintaining accurate financial records.

Corporate Accounting Functions

• Update fixed asset registers monthly.


• Capture journal entries for AFS reporting, including provisions for bad debts and intercompany loan reconciliations.


• Consolidate financial ledgers for six group companies to support monthly reporting.

Debtor Management & Invoicing

• Manage client invoicing, ensuring accuracy in revenue account allocation and entity alignment.


• Distribute customer statements, resolve queries, and process approved credit notes.


• Authenticate billing data, calculate VAT, and maintain withholding tax certificates.


• Assist in automating revenue/customer cycles (e.g., Xero integration).

Requirements

Qualifications

• SAIPA registration 


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero), Advanced Excel, and VAT compliance tools.

Experience

• Proven expertise in corporate accounting, statutory reporting, and financial reconciliations.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with treasury workflows will be an advantage(e.g., cash pooling, FX management).
