Senior Analytics Engineer

Make the Gold Layer the Source of Truth

We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to design the silver and gold layers the entire business reports on. You’ll certify every metric, set the modelling and testing standards the chapter follows, and lead the analytics side of our SAP BW to Databricks migration.

In this role you’ll:

• Design scalable dimensional models using Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines
  
• Build the most complex transformations yourself so business rules land correctly
  
• Own metric certification and Databricks–SAP BW reconciliation
  
• Set quality standards and coach junior and intermediate engineers
  

Requirements

You’ll need:

• 6+ years in analytics or data engineering with production ownership of models
  
• Expert SQL and dimensional modelling at scale
  
• Hands-on Databricks experience (or Data bricks Certified Data Engineer Professional)
  
• Production experience with Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines or dbt
  
• Strong SAP BW knowledge to lead source interpretation during the migration
  

Advantageous

• Unity Catalog: governance grants, masking, row filters
  and lineage, and semantic-layer curation through metric views.
  
• Coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, run in
  parallel and verified by tests and reconciliation.
  
• Retail data, ideally pharmacy retail. Healthcare or
  financial services also count.
  
• A completed migration off a legacy warehouse.
