Senior Bookkeeper (Half Day) - Heriotdale,  Johannesburg - Salary: R22,000 CTC

Are you an experienced Senior Bookkeeper looking for a half-day opportunity with excellent benefits and a supportive environment?
We are recruiting for a mature, detail-oriented professional with proven expertise in bookkeeping up to Balance Sheet level.

Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the full bookkeeping function for three entities (one larger, two smaller), including:

• Monthly invoicing, cashbook reconciliation, and payments

• Monthly creditors processing and reconciliations (limited volume)

• General ledger journals, intercompany loan reconciliations, stock entire,s and month-end journals

• Monthly reporting and analysis up to Balance Sheet

• VAT reconciliations and submissions (every second month)

• Weekly invoicing and reconciling of sales vs production

• Allocation of debtor payments and resolving invoice queries

• Ad hoc support to the senior bookkeeper and general office assistance

Systems used: Syspro Version 8.0 (training provided) and Microsoft Office 365.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience as a senior bookkeeper

• Bookkeeping Diploma (up to Balance Sheet) will be verified

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and initiative

• Positive references and a clear credit record

• Willingness to undergo a competency test

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08h00 13h00
